Formulated to furnish the substrate with excellent resistance against weather, the Henry HE925 BES Sealant is a single-component, environment-friendly, medium-modulus sealant with moisture-cure properties.
It is a building envelope sealant for self-adhered air barriers and an external joint sealant for Henry air barrier, waterproofing, and roofing systems. It is an alternative to silicone and moisture-cure urethanes in above-grade construction uses. Its construction joints are up to 1 (25 mm) wide and are subject to the dynamic joint movement of 35%.
This adhesive is specifically designed for construction joints that are subjected to dynamic joint movement. The silyl-terminated polyether polymer present in the formula enables the flexibility of the applied substrate. Apart from construction joints, the Henry HE925 BES Sealant is also designed to be employed as an external joint sealant for various systems including the Henry waterproofing system, air barrier system, and roofing system. It can also be used as an alternative to moisture cure and silicone urethane in the above-grade structures.
