DOWSIL General Purpose Sealant contains acetoxy chemistry that cures to 100% flexible rubber
DOWSIL General Purpose Sealant is a one-part, acetoxy cure silicone sealant for general purpose use. It provides a flexible bond and will not harden or crack. It is a high-performance sealant, with +-25% movement capability when properly applied. Dow Corning General Purpose Sealant (clear and white) meets the requirements of FDA Regulation 21CFR 177.2600.
With extreme weather-resistant capabilities, the RTV silicone sealant provides excellent resistance to sunlight and fluctuating temperatures. Its firm bond with the substrate allows for 25% movement while it cures completely after 24 hours of installation.

- Tack-Free Time - 15-20 minutes
- Tooling Time - 5-10 minutes
- Low VOC Content of 32 g/L
- 350 psi of tensile strength.
