SEAL-X XP, which contains the XP Technology hydrophilic polymer, expands upon contact with water to produce a watertight barrier in fresh to rising water conditions. SEAL-X XP has the viscosity of thick oil and adheres to most construction materials. SEAL-X XP has been designed for use on structural concrete, masonry, and most metal surfaces. SEAL-X XP should not be used on extruded polystyrene (EPS) concrete forming equipment. Only use in situations that need suitable containment. Backfill soils should be compacted to a modified proctor density of at least 85 percent. SEAL-X XP is not a sealer for expansion joints.
